Hey Juno is a digital research platform that uses artificial intelligence to conduct structured, conversational interviews via an online chat interface. Customers engage Hey Juno to conduct interviews, defining the research topics and target audience. Hey Juno then interviews Participants by having them respond to open-ended questions in a secure, user-friendly environment.
These Terms of Use apply to you as a Participant aged 15 to 17 years (inclusive) who has obtained the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are under 15, you are not permitted to use Hey Juno under any circumstances. If you are 18 or over, please see our standard Participant Terms of Use.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENT OR GUARDIAN — Before your child participates in any research through Hey Juno, please read these Terms of Use carefully. These Terms apply to you as well as your child. By providing consent for your child's participation, you: (a) agree to these Terms of Use on your own behalf and on behalf of your child; (b) represent that you are the legal parent or guardian of the Participant; (c) accept joint responsibility for your child's compliance with these Terms; (d) confirm that your child is between 15 and 17 years of age (inclusive); and (e) acknowledge that you have explained the nature of the research to your child in terms they can understand. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting [email protected]. You also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your child's personal information at any time.
📋 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARTICIPANT — These Terms of Use explain your rights and responsibilities when using Hey Juno. A parent or guardian must have agreed to these Terms before you start. You can stop participating in any interview or study at any time and for any reason — you will not get in trouble for stopping. 1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION
1.1 These Participant Terms of Use (Minor) ("Terms of Use") apply to Participants aged 15–17 (inclusive) who have obtained prior written parental or guardian consent to participate in research through Hey Juno, operated by Validly Pty Ltd t/a Juno ACN 660 129 939 ("Juno", "we" or "us").
1.2 If you are under 15 years of age, you are not permitted to use Hey Juno under any circumstances, including with parental or guardian consent.
1.3 If you are 18 years of age or older, the standard Hey Juno Participant Terms of Use apply to you.
1.4 In these Terms of Use: "Participant" means the person aged 15–17 accessing Hey Juno; "Parent/Guardian" means the legal parent or guardian who has provided consent for the Participant's use of Hey Juno; and both the Participant and the Parent/Guardian are bound by these Terms of Use.
1.5 These Terms of Use should be read alongside Juno's Privacy Policy applicable to your relevant region.
2. PARENTAL AND GUARDIAN CONSENT
a) Requirement for Consent
Participation in Hey Juno by a person aged 15–17 is conditional upon the prior written consent of a parent or legal guardian. No minor may access or use Hey Juno as a Participant without this consent having been obtained.
b) How Consent is Provided
Consent is provided when the Parent/Guardian actively confirms their agreement to these Terms of Use through the consent process provided by Hey Juno or the Customer prior to the Participant commencing any interview or study. This may include confirmation by email, completion of an online consent form, or another written method specified by the Customer or Juno. A record of consent will be retained by Juno or the Customer in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
